Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase to land FC Brno defender Ondrej Mazuch.
Arsenal are believed to have offered two million euros after Arsene Wenger expressed an interest in the 17-year-old.
The club’s director Radek Belak told the Daily Sport in the Czech Republic: “We received a fax in which their chief scout Steve Rowley quotes Arsene Wenger saying that he is imminently interested in bringing Ondrej to Arsenal.”
Arsenal’s bid could be decisive for FC Brno majority shareholder Roman Pros who has stated in the past: “We will accept the highest offer.”
